Visible on the beachfront horizon from miles out into the Gulf of Mexico, the palatial Loews Don CeSar Hotel, known as the "Pink Palace," has been a welcoming fixture on the shores of St. Pete Beach since 1928.
The hotel’s distinctive, coral-colored exterior and ornate, sandcastle-like architecture make it one of the most recognizable landmarks on Florida’s Gulf Coast and in the St. Petersburg / Clearwater area.

Well-executed restorations over the years have preserved the structure’s rich sense of culture, while adding in contemporary amenities and lavish furnishings.
Remaining a favorite vacation destination for the rich and famous throughout its storied history, the hotel has hosted a variety of notable celebrities, including F. Scott Fitzgerald, Franklin D. Roosevelt and even Al Capone himself.

The hotel loves dogs, too. The pet-friendly Don CeSar offers pup pampering, including doggie massages, specialty treats and other services.
The expansive 11,000-square-foot Spa Oceana offers a full menu of relaxing massages, rejuvenating facials and indulgent body treatments for humans, too. A special spa rooftop garden overlooks the gentle Gulf of Mexico below.
