There's a new eatery making big waves in Tampa's upscale Westshore dining scene.
Located on Boy Scout Boulevard, across from International Plaza Mall, Del Frisco’s Grille is a casual, trendy bar and grill that's drawing customers from all over the city.
Under the guidance of General Manager Beth Weisman and Chef Ben Bowman – both of whom were recruited from regional positions – a passion for great food and service is apparent. Happy patrons fill the front of house that Weisman runs like a clock with her team of well-trained and friendly servers.
Complementing the great service is a kitchen that consistently turns out well-prepared dishes. Favoring a hands-on approach, Bowman frequently mans the grill station himself because he loves sending out the perfect steak.
Together, this amazing duo has created a top-notch corporate restaurant with a family-run feel.

The cuisine of Del Frisco’s is a reflection of the comfort food with a twist trend, and it features novel takes on down-home favorites.
In addition to their top-notch prime steaks, check out their prime beef double cheeseburgers with a killer sloppy sauce, beef stroganoff made with prime beef short rib or their tasty truffled mac and cheese.
Although part of a national chain, Del Frisco’s incorporates local flavors in their menus, making each one a unique reflection of their host city. Nods to Tampa foodways include the pulled pork empanada appetizer, Cuban sandwiches and plantain-encrusted grouper entree.
The cocktail selection is just as creative as the main courses, featuring innovative taste combinations and fresh ingredients. A summer favorite is the white wine Sangria Pop.
Made from scratch, this deliciously refreshing libation is served with a homemade popsicle made with fresh fruit.
Another popular adult beverage is the Adult Milkshake that combines Nocello Walnut Liquer, Creme de Cacao, chocolate liquer and vanilla ice cream to create a thick and satisfying milkshake that easily doubles as dessert.
The restaurant décor is just as comfortable as its food, featuring clean, modern lines – with pops of color and creativity provided by the unique lighting and artwork.
In addition to large dining and bar areas, there's also a spacious outdoor patio with lounge seating.
Perhaps the most unique part of the restaurant, however, is located upstairs on the roof. Here, you can dine, lounge or belly up to the bar on their covered rooftop terrace – a great way to enjoy al fresco dining, even in the rain.
Del Frisco’s Grille offers upscale dining at affordable prices, as well as a comfortable, trendy atmosphere with just enough quirkiness to show you that they don’t take themselves too seriously.
Watch out for the humorous cow painting, enjoy the unexpected popsicles and be sure to try the “Happy Endings.”
