Located on Rocky Point Island, Tampa’s Sailport Waterfront Suites offers visitors spacious accommodations and beautiful views within easy driving distance of downtown, the airport and top area attractions.
Already well established, Sailport has recently upped the ante by undertaking a comprehensive renovation of the property.

Sailport is an all-suite hotel featuring one or two bedroom suites with full-size kitchens and living rooms, as well as balconies, perfect for enjoying spectacular sunsets. There are also one bedroom “Business Suites” that cater to the business traveler with office workspace and ergonomic amenities.
Recent renovations included a complete refresh of all the guest rooms with modern contemporary décor, upgraded beds and bedding, new flat screen TVs, and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the property.
The resort-style outdoor amenities have also been refreshed to better take advantage of Sailport’s premier waterfront location. Recreation spaces have been expanded and upgraded with a new outdoor fitness area next to the large heated pool.
There's also a white sand sunning beach complete with lounge chairs and umbrellas, a sand volleyball court and games area, and a fishing pier with poles and fishing gear available to guests.

Daytime is fun, but the most spectacular time at Sailport is sunset. The waterfront location offers unobstructed views as the sun makes its colorful daily journey into Tampa Bay waters.
As darkness descends, the Tiki torches are lit and guests can relax around the fire pits, as well as cook out using the BBQ grills. For the more adventurous, there is a free shuttle service to the restaurants and bars on the island.
While dining options are currently limited to purchasing food supplies at the on-site Ships Store, soon guests will be able to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner service poolside at Pearly’s Beach Eats. Expected to open in early 2016, the restaurant will feature a selection of casual meals, beer and wine, and tropical cocktails served with a Mexican flair.
Quietly nestled away from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by water and lush, newly re-landscaped grounds, this is not a spring break hotel. With space to spread out and private balconies overlooking the water, Sailport offers a rare opportunity for privacy and relaxation while being reasonably-priced and close to the urban core.
Convenient for an overnight stay, but perfect for extended stays, the hotel offers longer term guests everything they need, including on-site laundry and complimentary parking in addition to the well-stocked Ships Store. The hotel also offers daily, weekly and monthly rates.
