Located adjacent to Tampa's Amalie Arena – home of the Tampa Bay Lightning and the city’s largest sports and music venue – is downtown’s newest fun-drinkery Ferg’s Live.
Not to be confused with sister bar, Ferg's in St. Petersburg, Ferg's Live is a welcome addition for both residents and visitors to downtown Tampa.
The new bar and grill features live music six days a week and over 60 flat-screen TVs to watch your favorite sports.

With a sleek, urban vibe, the venue combines a bright and airy interior with a huge outdoor courtyard featuring multiple bars, TVs and seating areas. Adding to the industrial feel are refurbished shipping containers that form an L-shape around the courtyard. The recycled containers have been transformed into a service bar, kitchen and very cool bathrooms.
If you tilt your head up, you can see the crowning glory of the space, the “stage in the sky” perched on one corner of the L, where musicians and DJs perform into the wee hours of the morning.
Owners promise to bring in lots of local as well as regional acts, running the gamut of musical tastes from folk, blues and country to jazz, pop and rock.

Ferg’s Live is the perfect spot for hanging out before or after an event at Amalie Arena. In fact, they are committed to complementing whatever event is going on. For example, if a country singer is playing at Amalie, then Ferg’s will feature a local or regional country act before and/or after the concert.
You can also enjoy some live music to get you revved up before arena sporting events like NHL hockey games. If you don’t have a ticket, stick around and watch the game at Ferg’s Live on their astounding number of huge TVs – with sound. It's a better view than going to the game!

Sunday is funday at Ferg’s Livem when patrons can be “wasted away again in Margaritaville,” complete with Jimmy Buffet Band and Bloody Mary Bar.
Coming soon are ladies nights, comedy nights and trivia nights. There are also plenty of games and distractions to keep you entertained, including cornhole, giant Jenga, super-sized Connect Four and life-size chess.
The menu at Ferg’s Live offers a variety of casual yet sophisticated pub food with a focus on quality. Starters are great for sharing and include pub pretzels, onion straws and wings.
There's also a good selection of trendy flatbreads, salads, sandwiches and burgers for a little more sustenance. Two dishes that are becoming early favorites are the Fairground Fries and, for dessert, Ferg’s Pucks (croissant donuts drizzled with chocolate).
