Press Box Sports Emporium

The Press Box is the grandfather of Tampa sports bars and has been in operation for almost 40 years. The wall space that is not covered with a TV is smothered with sports memorabilia of all kinds and signed photos of celebrity visitors. What the Press Box doesn't have in the way of modern amenities, it more than makes up for with sports and civic history. When you're not watching the wall of TVs that pick up all the games and all the fights, there are a few old school pinball games in the back. Drinks are strong and reasonably priced, and the wings, shepherd's pie, and Philly cheesesteak are the menu favorites.
