The trend today for eating in the French capital is small plates coupled with either wine or cocktails. Some of the Paris' most popular spots are just that and now there is one that offers a terrfic twist - Brazilian food and inventive cocktails. The lcoation of Boteco couldn't be better, it is within a minute's walking distance from Le Grand Rex, Europe's largest movie theater and must-do for date night. So, grabbing that tasty nibble either before or after the show here is something that not only your date but you, too, will thank yourself that you did. Cocktails range from the classic Negroni to a vegan mix whose frothy top is not made with egg whites (of course, because it's vegan) but with a chickpea technique. For more details, best to go on in and ask the Brazilian owners and staff for yourself, while you sip your way through the cocktail menu and nibble on the best guacamole served with fried plantains in town. Plus a whole range of super tasty small bites like crab meat baked with melted cheese, a board of sliced, grilled steak, fried mouth-bites of battered fish served with house-made ketchup. Expect to leave sated and content.
