This is the darling, still, of the local Paris food trendsters and bloggers. And for good reason. They serve good coffee, good food and claim to do all that with friendly service, too. It's also devoted to breakfast, a rarity in the city. Urban legend has it that it's fashioned after a good ol' diner from DownUnder. In any event, the kitchen closes at 3pm weekdays (closed all day Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and at 4pm on weekends. So, yes, it conforms to the true breakfast diner format.
Come here if you're craving a big, thick stack of pancakes and thickly cut juicy pieces of bacon dripping with fat. And you want to wash all that down with a locally roasted, freshly brewed cup of real java. (They buy their beans from the Brulerie de Belleville).
