Prince de Galles, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Paris

Some hotels dazzle with their public spaces and some with their rooms and suites, the Prince de Galles does both. This is a Luxury Collection Hotel (Starwood Group) whose fineness of detail becomes more apparent the longer you cast your appreciative gaze on it. Mosaics are the exquisite interior detail of this Art Deco historical monument building. Most visible from the public spaces of Le Patio and Les Heures Le Bar, the interior courtyard mosaic inlays are breathtaking and unique here in Paris. During its 2013 property renovation, the 1-Michelin star La Scéne restaurant put the chef and her kitchen on full display, as if to be "on stage." Two other design themes throughout the hotel are macassar (fine grained) wood for bespoke furnishings throughout the rooms and suites and the three-feathered Prince de Galles emblem, an Art Deco version of the Prince of Wales' very own.
