About Paris Attractions
Paris is history come alive. It’s like taking a time machine where you stroll the streets of larger-than-life historical figures such as King Louis XIII, Marie de Medici and Voltaire; View churches built in the 12th Century (Notre Dame); And visit neighborhoods where Thomas Jefferson (Palais-Royal) and Benjamin Franklin (Trocadéro- Passy) once lived. Then of course there’s the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, the Panthéon and the walkways along the River Seine.
It pays, too, to read the historical placards posted all throughout the city in front of imposing buildings such as Palais Bourbon, Sainte-Chapelle and Musée d’Orsay, beautifully landscaped parks and gardens such as the Tuileries, Parc Monceau and Jardins du Luxembourg, and ancient churches such as La Madeleine, they offer a sort of teaser to the legends of the city.
