This small, very discreet, family run restaurant located at 78 rue de Belleville (Metro Pyrénées), is just a brisk five minute walk uphill from Paris's Chinese district Belleville, but it is definitely worth the detour.
The friendly staff and tastefully decorated interior make it a pleasant place to go for lunch or dinner, but the small number of seats means it pays to come early. For those who live or are staying nearby, there is also the option of ordering a take away.
For 12-13, try the Heo Bun, their take on the ever-popular Vietnamese Bo-Bun dish, and bigger appetites can order an extra serving of pork, chicken or vegetarian nems (crispy spring rolls).
