Owner and operator, Narendra Patel spent many years working some of the top hotel chains in the restaurant and hospitality sector and transferred this experience over to Madras Chettinaad. This is evident in both the décor and food. The décor is beautiful with vibrant colors and the rich look including the granite tables that were shipped over from India complete the look. During lunch, the restaurant offers a fabulous buffet with dozens of selections. Included are various kinds of rice, bread, curries and more. Of course there are many vegetarian options, but there are also lots of meat-centric dishes too. One of the most popular menu items are the Dosais at Madras Chettinaad. These are like a huge crepe, filled with delicious toppings. They are so large, two people could easily share the entrée and be full. Unlike many other Indian restaurants, they will customize the spice level for orders at dinner. The restaurant also offers catering and does a huge catering business for parties and weddings. For those that would like to host their event on site at Madras Chettinaad, they have several large rooms for private events as well.
