One of the few outdoor amphitheatres in Atlanta, Chastain Park has been impressing guests with big acts for decades. While the seating capacity is high, it isn’t so much that guests don’t have fantastic acoustics to hear their favorite artist belt out some great tunes. Concert goers love to bring in coolers with food and drinks and make a fun evening out of it. You can even bring your favorite bottle of wine or some brews.
Be aware that parking is quite far away, so you’ll need to be prepared to carry whatever you intend to bring into the park. Don’t feel like preparing any food? You can order food from Chastain Park’s caterers and have it waiting for you when you arrive. Another idea is to eat dinner at one of the many Buckhead/Sandy Springs restaurants in the vicinity.
Pricing is in tiered levels: tables, box seats, terrace level or lawn seating (lawn seats are a bit less expensive than the regular seating). Note that this is an open-air amphitheatre and concerts go on rain or shine. Chastain is home to acts like Cyndi Lauper, Hall and Oates, Stevie Nicks, the Black Eyed Peas, Pussycat Dolls and more.
