Downtown Atlanta has seen in a resurgence in the last couple of years. Not only have more unique restaurants popped up but also the hotels in the area have also stepped up their game in terms of cuisine options.
Although the Atlanta Hilton and its restaurants have been around for decades it still continues to offer a unique atmosphere that you won't find in many of the chain hotels.
Stepping inside the Hilton, you can't help but notice notice the swanky but comfortable décor. Guests may prefer to stay in to dine because of the Hilton's stellar options.
Choose from the ultra luxurious Nikolai's Roof or the more relaxed Trader Vic's in the basement of the hotel.

One may be surprised by the sheer expanse of Trader Vic's. It has several large dining areas, a private room, a decent bar area and an elevated area for the perfect view of the Tiki 70s band that plays on most evenings.
No visit would be complete without an order of their signature drink, the mai tai.
The Hilton may not be the newest kid on the block as far as downtown hotels, but it still holds its own as far as décor and food offerings. It is a good choice for business travelers, but locals should pay a visit as well, if only for a short visit to the Tiki atmosphere and funky music that can only be found at Trader Vic's.
