This attractive, remodeled 1920s bungalow has a pleasant dining room dominated by an open kitchen. You can watch chefs whip up fantastic new Southern dishes like Coca-cola braised Salmon and grits, pan-fried catfish with mustard greens and warm pepper jelly, and crab hash with poached eggs and Idaho potatoes. You may be tempted to fill up first on the biscuits and cornbread, but try to resist as the main entrees and dessert are well worth saving room for. Though the Southern influence is obvious in the menu and the decor, the surroundings and the presentation are thoroughly modern. Great spot to take visitors.
