Your stay at the Marriott Savannah Riverfront Hotel just got even better. The hotel, located in a prime spot on River Street overlooking the Savannah River, recently completed a $3.5 million renovation of its guestrooms and welcomed Stacey Lasure as its executive chef.
The renovations included an extensive remodeling of the hotel’s 346 guestrooms and 41 suites, including a new color palette featuring mint green and chocolate brown. The rooms continue to offer comfortable beds, deluxe furnishings, coffeemakers, irons and high-speed Internet access, among other amenities. Many of the hotel’s rooms boast lovely views of River Street, the Savannah River and nearby Hutchinson Island.
After relaxing in your comfortable, beautifully decorated digs, you’ll enjoy sampling the hotel’s tasty cuisine, courtesy of Chef Lasure. The Marriott veteran, who most recently served as the hotel’s executive sous chef, has an extensive background in the hospitality industry. In her new role, Chef Lasure will oversee all food preparation at the hotel, including the hotel’s in-house restaurant Blue, A Savannah Bistro, a contemporary American eatery serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
In addition to luxurious guestrooms and great food, the Marriott Savannah Riverfront also has a full-service spa, a fitness center, and indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
