Historic District


"Something old, something new" best describes the Marshall House. Built in 1851 and restored and reopened in 1999, the iconic hotel has the distinction of being one of Savannah's oldest hotels. Many of the Marshall House's original features remain untouched, including 19th-century doors, windows, moldings, staircases and railings. Many of the guest rooms contain traces of the hotel's early days - among them antique claw foot tubs and wrought-iron balconies.
