The sweetest spot on River Street, Savannah's Candy Kitchen is a sugary paradise for kids and grown-ups alike. Free samples of warm, melt-in-your-mouth pralines entice visitors to enter this Willy Wonka-esque wonderland of freshly made sweets, from rich chocolate gophers and fluffy Southern divinity to enormous candy apples, decadent fudge, buttery toffee and homemade ice cream. Kids also enjoy the taffy machine and conveyor belt, from which the staff tosses scrumptious samples into the crowd.
