Located on historic Bayfront along the water, Full Moon Cafe is a family owned and operated restaurant that uses many local and organic ingredients in their Thai and American menu. As one of the owners is originally from Thailand, the Thai menu is authentic cuisine. Fresh local fish featured on the menu are caught by Big Island fishermen and they use grass-fed Big Island beef, providing the freshest meats around.

Live music takes place in the newly renovated and revamped eatery that makes its home in a historic building. On any night at Full Moon, you're likely to find the owner hanging out and "talking story" (local slang for catching up) with his co-owner wife and her close friends cooking up meals in the back.
At Full Moon you're welcome to their local draft beers, all of which are amazing Big Island brews. Whether you're in search of a great green papaya salad, yellow curry or a hamburger and fries, Full Moon Cafe is a fun and friendly place to enjoy.
Since it's surrounded by a multitude of boutiques and art galleries, you can pop in to Full Moon Cafe before or after a shopping or browsing spree. Stopping in to eat after a morning or afternoon at the Hilo Farmers Market would be ideal.
Enjoy your night out in historic Hilo town.
