Brewery tours are quick and personal and take place daily at 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. During the tour, visitors over 21 get to sample the products. Kona's on-premises brewpub serves cold mugs of the brewery's top sellers, including Fire Rock Pale, Pacific Golden Ale, and Longboard Lager, and the cozy setting easily pulls you in making it difficult to leave.

Food, or "grindz" as the locals say, is pretty darn good. The "brew your own pizza" allows you to craft your own pie with unique ingredients. The brewery gets really busy any night of the week, turning it into a great spot to socialize, wind down and meet people, but this also means that reservations are necessary unless you're all right with waiting a little while.
Growlers are also available for those who would like to take beer on the go to the beach or the hotel room. Come in straight from the beach or dress up a bit for fun; either way, the Kona Brewing Company is sure to satisfy.
