As the newest eatery on the North Shore, the Lobby Lounge at Honolulu's Turtle Bay has various things to offer. Opening at 6 am as a cafe serving up coffee, espresso, pastries and fruit plates, it's an easy place for breakfast. At 2 pm, the bar opens with a wide variety of signature cocktails, most muddled with exotic herbs and fruits such as the basil jito and kaffir smash. At 6 pm, it becomes a full restaurant with a menu of Pacific and Asian inspired dishes such as ahi poke and edamame, as well as pizzas and calamari. Coffee and espresso continues till closing.

Stylish and comfortable furniture makes the moderately lit lounge feel like home, and the full glass wall offers a spectacular ocean view of waves popular with surfers. The bartenders are always friendly here and Dan is particularly a character. Table service and bar seating are both available, and you're welcome to lounge around for as long as you need, there's no rush to move on here.

Hula dancing and live music takes place on weekends, some of the rare entertainment on the North Shore, and free wireless Internet is always available. This is a great place to order off the menu and relax for a while, or grab one of their pre-made (daily) sandwiches, salads, or snack boxes to take down to the beach or eat on the road.
