Named after the famous Hawaiian Olympic swimmer and surfer, Duke's Barefoot Bar is the nightlife element to the classy restaurant Duke's Canoe Club. Located on the beach at the Marriott Kauai Beach Club Resort in Lihue, Duke's Barefoot Bar is steps from the sand, and besides live music and a full bar, Duke's also serves sandwiches, burgers, fish tacos and other Pacific Rim cuisine.

An open air design makes partying at the Barefoot Bar a true tropical party experience. While dancing to live local music, you'll feel the ocean breeze blow across you, see the moonlight glimmering over Kalapaki Bay and once you're tired, the beach is right there for a romantic late night stroll on the sand. The bar is an ideal place for late night partying or to have a sunset cocktail before having dinner upstairs.
Local performers entertain guests with terrific Hawaiian music, and the place comes alive with folks grooving, dancing and chatting. If you're enamored with the tropical experience but don't do alcohol, they also pour a menu of virgin drinks, full of island fruits and goodness.
Unique tropical cocktails like Lava Flows, Tropical Itch and Wrong Island Iced Teas are all served up at an affordable price. Try a mango martini or a Hawaiian Salt (ocean vodka with lemonade and passion fruit juice). Call ahead to find out what performers they'll have.
