Following in the footsteps of the West Side's Hanapepe Art Night, the newly enacted Old Kapa`a Town Art Walk is a celebration of all things arts, crafts and locally made. A combination of shopping, entertainment and live music, socializing, and food, the art night is Kaua`i's newest venture into organized socializing.

On the first Saturday of every month the art walk runs from 5:30 to 8;30 p.m., where vendors line the street in the ocean side town and people gather to browse, make new friends, enjoy local food and support local businesses. Nestled on the east side of the island, historic Kapa`a Town is home to a multitude of art galleries and boutiques who keep their doors open at night to welcome visitors. Other vendors from around the island who do not have shops and only display their creations at functions like this, like jewelry creator Peace of Kaua`i, come together to make it a night of celebration.

During the evening gathering, you'll be able to explore the works of local jewelry designers, artists, glass blowers and just about any other type of artists you could imagine. Restaurants and bars also line the area, enabling art night goers to enjoy some tropical drinks at sunset before cruising the street.
