Shopping, dining and live entertainment can all be found at Poipu Shopping Village on Kauai island. This is the type of shopping center where those in search of retail therapy can spend a full day in and out of shops, or just drop by for something they need.
Twenty-two stores can connect everyone with a broad spectrum of goods - from jewelry and sunglasses to clothing to art and home decor. There's even a general store here, so you can find just about anything you need - or want - at Poipu Shopping Village.
Some of the standout shops that could really help visitors in need of beach gear include Honolua Surf Co. and Honolua Wahine (Hawaiian for "women"). These longstanding surf shops are full of surfboards, bathing suits, board shorts, surf wax, clothing and a ton of other surf and beach paraphernalia.

For an upscale souvenir or gift, stop into the Black Pearl. This shop offers an abundance of Pacific black pearls, which are highly prized by locals. Jewelry lovers can find them in a huge variety of settings to adorn themselves with.
Whether visitors need to drop by just for a meal or refuel after a shopping spree, they can find a wonderful selection of places to dine on site. From high-end Pacific Rim cuisine to Hawaiian hot dogs to a burger and beer joint, it's all here.
Some of the more well-known eateries include Roy's Poipu Bar & Grill. At Roy's, a devotion to impeccably fresh ingredients and a penchant for artistic presentation characterize the menu, whose temptations include steamed Hawaiian onaga, tri-peppercorn-crusted ahi and ginger-steamed Chinese chicken. There's also steak, lamb, pasta, pork and duck.
Also on site is a favorite with both visitors and locals: Keoki's Paradise. Illuminated by tiki torches and surrounded by trickling streams and tropical vegetation, this lively, open-air establishment proves irresistible to patrons.
The welcoming ambiance complements the menu, which boasts a wealth of fresh fish and steaks. Plus, Keoki's bar is a fantastic hangout for those who want to drink, socialize and munch on appetizers and light fare. Wonderful steaks, nachos, burgers, salads and a delicious dessert menu are all available here.
