Following in the highly successful footsteps of Hanapepe Art Night, historic Kapa`a Town on the east side has it's own night to bring people together in celebration of all things locally crafted - Kapa`a Art Night. Every first Saturday of the month, a huge number of residents and visitors gather in the picturesque town. Shoppers and vendors alike all spend the evening socializing and browsing. Artists set up booths along the sidewalk sharing their wares with shoppers.

From 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. booths are open, guests are browsing and live music can be found here and there. Restaurants and other shops are all open for business also. Everything on show has been locally made or crafted, that's the one rule that applies. It's safe to say that Kapa`a Art Night is more than shopping, it's an evening of high quality and quite mellow nightlife, that enables everyone to socialize, meet new people and even dance a bit.

Centrally located on the east side, Kapa`a Art Night is a short drive from any part of the island. This is where you'll find crafts not only from artists who already have their art in shops, but also up and coming artists who are just starting out but shouldn't be missed. Remember to bring a reusable shopping bag, and you'll fit right in.
