Nightlife on the South Shore of Kaua`i is rather limited, but what is available is after-dark quality entertainment. Out of Kalaheo, Poipu, and Koloa, Poipu has the most after-dark options, so we have gathered the best nightlife in all of Poipu especially for you.
For bars and live music, the Grand Hyatt Kaua`i along the Poipu Coast is home to several lounges and bars. These include Stevenson’s Library, which offers live jazz nightly from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. You can dress up a bit and enjoy the music while sipping cocktails.

Live music also happens at the Seaview Terrace from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm every day. An evening here begins with a torch-lighting ceremony, and performances may include a Hawaiian soloist, Hawaiian duet, or a children’s (keiki) hula show.
Surrounded by flaming tiki torches and the Moir Gardens of the Kiahuna Plantation Resort, the Plantation Gardens Bar and Restaurant mixes classy elegance with tropical nights. The restaurants and full bar feature a unique and delicious Pacific Rim menu with a Hawaiian flair. You can sit outside on the lanai and enjoy specialty cocktails, tropical drinks, wine and beer.
What’s awesome about nightlife in the south side is that there’s a good chance your hotel will offer childcare, so get out for an old-fashioned date night and enjoy all the south side has to offer.
