10 Best Hotels on Kauai Are Havens for Relaxation and Rejuvenation

Perhaps the greatest thing about all hotels on Kauai, is that none are far from the ocean. In fact, most are right on the ocean, enabling visitors to hop from pool to sea and take a relaxing beach walk before or after getting ready for dinner. Each section of the island has hotels, with the largest concentration on the east and south sides. From elaborate, luxurious high end resorts, to smaller romantic hotels and great family resorts, Kauai has a very varied hotel selection. Everyone is bound to find a place to stay that's just right for them.

Resting high on the bluff over Hanalei Bay is the luxurious St. Regis Princeville Resort. The elaborate beautiful property is a destination within itself, offering everything a guest could need on site to feel content for days. White sand beaches rest below the cliff where the pool lies in full view of the amazing bay.

Slightly smaller yest still beautiful and oceanfront are luxe getaways like the Sheraton Kauai Resort and the Hanalei Colony Resort. While both rest upon white sand beaches, the former is on the sunny south side and the latter is located on the lush North Shore.

It's a good idea to hotel hop to some different locals. Each side of the island is very different, and spending time in different areas offers a window into the various elements that beautifully make up Kauai.
