For more than 50 years, Second City has been helping Chicago residents overcome the blues of a losing baseball team, brutal winters and corrupt politicians with laughter. The alumni list of this Old Town comedy club includes names like Chris Farley, Tina Fey and the Windy City's own, Billy Murray. While Second City has been around for a long time, the club is constantly giving locals and tourists alike a reason to buy tickets with rotating shows and casts.
Named "A Comedy Empire" by none other than The New York Times, Second City is a must-see if you're looking to smile while you're in town.

What's Playing Now
As election season moves into full-swing, so does Second City. One of the club's most popular current shows is One Nation Under 1% Or, This Show Is Not Going to Solve Anything, But Neither is The Election, So Let's Just Laugh About Both & Drink. If you pick up tickets for this humorous take on politics, you'll get to see up-and-comers Edgar Blackmon and Katie Rich.
What's on the Menu
There are plenty of great Chicago restaurants nearby, but you don't actually have to make reservations at any of them if you're heading to Second City. When you buy your tickets in advance, you can choose a dinner/show package to enjoy some tasty treats from places like Bistro Margot, Fireplace Inn and other neighborhood favorites.
