Great for a romantic date or a group of friends, Webster's Wine Bar in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood – located amidst a slew of restaurants and bars – is a beautiful and dimly-lit bar with so many homey interior features that you may just feel like you're in someone's living room.
Built-in bookcases, comfortable couches and chairs and larger tables in the center make it very easy to enjoy company and a glass of wine.

As one might expect from the venue’s name, Webster’s Wine Bar specializes in wine. The bar’s new location (it moved from Lincoln Park last summer), is far roomier than the original, with two rooms and a heavy leather-bound book of wine to consider.
This wine bar features more than 500 labels in the cellar, and 20 to 30 wines are offered by the glass at any given time. This place is the real deal when it comes to wine bars.
The operation has been around for 20 years, and the team scours the globe for the best selection of ethically-made wines, many of which are organic and bio-dynamic.
The servers and bartenders are very well-versed, sometimes offering way more information about the origin of the wines and how the venue came to add them to the cellar than some want to know. But, for those who do, it’s a sincere pleasure to hear the history.
Webster’s Wine Bar in Logan Square does offer a limited food menu that's available pretty late into the evening. The offerings are small plates, perfect for sharing.
Live music can often be heard, and a cover isn’t requested, making it a lovely venue to hear some great music, have a few bites to eat and enjoy a glass of wine with friends or family.
The music can sometimes get loud, which makes it hard to have a conversation. Ask to be seated far from the musicians if you want to hear your companion instead of enjoying the tunes.
Parking is usually pretty easy to find on side streets or along Kedzie Avenue, just around the corner.
There is no shortage of great restaurants, bars and nightlife options in Logan Square. But Webster’s Wine Bar is a nice addition to bustling Milwaukee Avenue.
The large picture windows give guests a nice view of the city after dark, and when it snows, it’s a bit magical to see the snowflakes fall, as you sip on some prosecco.
