Owners Richie Rogulich and Nicky Bertucci were born and raised in Bridgeport, so they're White Sox fans from the crib to this southside sports bar and grill that offers a lot more than your average watering hole. The pub smokes a variety of meat in-house for its rib platter, pulled pork and smoked barbecue brisket sandwiches. You can get the tender morsels in tacos, nachos and on flatbread, too. There are burgers, sandwiches from grilled chicken to pot roast and a 39th St. Patty Melt, but also Italian specialities like Chicken Vesuvio, Sausage Giambotta and pasta with vodka sauce. Wash it all down with any of 16 beers on tap. You'll even get a pepper and egg sandwich during Lent. Watch your favorite teams on seven televisions and enjoy free parking. Bask in White Sox glory on the comfy outdoor patio and bring the little sluggers for their own food menu.
- Sports Bars: "Thoughtfully, there is a charging station In front of every bar seat to keep your cellphone as juiced as you are."
- Best for Sports Bars Because: Ballpark Pub is White Sox city from the full-size batter's box outside the front door to the team paraphernalia inside and the outdoor patio.
