The Days Inn Chicago was once known as the "Rock and Roll Days Inn" because it hosted famous rock stars and bands including Sheryl Crow, Kurt Cobain, Alanis Morissette, Dave Mathews, Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. As the story goes, Sheryl Crowe was found rollerblading through the hotel lobby one time (which was not permitted). These days, the landmark hotel welcomes visitors from all over the world because of its close proximity to the downtown area as well as attractions such as the Lincoln Park Zoo and Wrigley Field, both within walking distance. Guests enjoy free wireless Internet access in each room, as well as satellite television, valet laundry and dry cleaning. Complimentary continental breakfast is served each morning in the breakfast room.
