Large, high-energy Latin bands with jammin' horn sections play regularly at this Moorish-styled Middle Eastern restaurant and club, one of the most popular dance clubs in Chicago. Even if you don't want to dance, you'll enjoy hearing bands play tango, swing dance, cha cha, Kizomba, bachata, salsa and many other styles of music. The well-dressed crowd spins and moves around to the beats. The bands at their famous Tuesday night salsa dancing party are some of the best Latin bands in Chicago, but dancing doesn't start till at least 9 p.m.. If you eat dinner at Alhambra on Friday or Saturday nights, where they have a Mediterranean menu, you can stay and listen to the band (and dance, if you'd like) for free.
