Dine in Dublin Restaurant Week is a biannual event that encourages Dublin restaurants to up their game and offer great dishes at affordable prices to get people eating out in the city. If you’re a foodie, or a wannabe foodie that doesn’t have the funds to eat out regularly, then this is the time to take to the streets and hunt out some of the best deals on offer.

Not only is there an emphasis on showcasing the best a restaurant has to offer, there is also a range of events and entertainment on the cards to make your night out a real event

Running during the final week of October 2012, this time you’ll find big restaurant names such as L’Gueuleton, Pichet, Bang, Brasserie Sixty 6 and many more taking part in this great event. Places like Rustic Stone are also opening their doors with new concepts such as their ‘Raw’ menu that aims to serve food at its optimum temperate to maximize flavour. You may not be able to try these variations at any other time, so making the most of the week is advisable. The festival is an initiative of the Dublin City Business Improvement District that aims to create inviting events to promote the capital. With things like this on the menu it looks like it’s working.
