Florence is known for having a little something old everywhere you look. Surprisingly, though, it can be hard to find quality vintage stores worth a visitor’s while. Italians aren’t necessarily open to the idea that clothing should be recycled: think of the rows and rows of expensive boutiques that line the Arno River.
However, with vintage clothing becoming more and more recognized among the tourist and expat communities, Florence has tried to improve its options. One vintage store in the city worth mentioning is Boutique Nadine.

Boutique Nadine is a relatively new store located near the Ponte Vecchio. The store brings in a select few pieces meant to really stand out, as compared to some of the other vintage stores around; it’s important that each item has a little bit of history attached to it.
The choices in accessories are impeccable; if you are in need of a new bag or set of jewelry, you can trust that they will have a good selection available. The sales staff is also friendly and willing to point out any pieces that you might have missed.
You’ll find items from important fashion lines past like Chanel, Gucci and Louis Vuitton for a reasonable price – a difficult thing to do in a fashion capital like Florence!
Not only will you find some quality accessories that you can afford, but you’ll also find some unique ensemble pieces that harken back to the '40s and '50s. It’s not easy to find a vintage store with clothing that you can actually wear, but Boutique Nadine is the perfect place to find exactly that.

If you can’t make it to the Florence store, they also hold an impressive inventory online, where you can shop and have the store ship to your location.
When you're looking for a little slice of Florence, the Boutique Nadine website is the perfect place to find gift ideas for friends and family who like items with personality. Whether a transistor radio suits your fancy or you want a subtle necklace, taking a moment or two to check out what’s online can point you in the right direction when searching for that perfect piece.
The items listed are mostly accessories. You won’t find any larger clothing pieces.
The boutique is located on Via dei Benci, only about a minute's walk from the Ponte Vecchio. The store is open from 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Mondays, and 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday through Saturday. On Sunday, it's open from noon until 7 p.m.
