The Dog Days of summer have finally arrived in Rome and so has a relaxing retreat for man's best friend! Back by popular demand, Villa Bau Village, an urban dog beach returns to the banks of the Tiber River near Ponte Milvio.

Sponsored by the Comune di Roma (City of Rome), the designated beach offers pooches and pups over 15,000 square meters of space where they can frolic in the sun and the sand. After they've had some fun in the sun, dogs can even take a dip in their very own doggy pool. Owners of pint-sized pups and chihuahuas don't need to fret. There's even a special spot and shallower pool where mini-friends can also take part!

The entrance fee includes access to doggy showers, bowls for water, and even a complimentary lunch for your four-legged friends!

Owners can park their dogs and have a an aperitivo located at the doggy beach. Otherwise, there's a real cool café, called Aristocampo, located around the corner from Villa Bau Village where one can sit, relax, and enjoy a cool drink.
