K-Club is the Hot New Lounge in Rome — Photo courtesy of Linzi Clark / When it comes to bars in clubs in Rome, sometimes, the city needs to get with an 'out with the old and in with the new' attitude to give the nightlife scene a little bit of a kick. That's why when new locali like K-Club, which recently opened in the Centro Storico in September, everyone took notice. The new kid on the block, is a new chic alternative for party-goers looking for a place to see and be seen while they dine and hit the dance floor once the clock strikes midnight.
The restaurant's interior is chic with modern and sleek furnishings replete with silver, black and purple accents. In the warm spring and summer months, al fresco dining is made possible outdoors in the lovely little piazza where this locale is located. Its menu boasts a delightful array of seafood based dishes and eccentric pastas, The restaurant-lounge also features a long list of fine wines and rum and over 130 different cocktails whipped up by the master barman himself.
On the weekends, after the restaurant morphs into a cocktail lounge, K-Club features live music and or a DJ set. K-Club caters to a well-to-do thirty and forty something crowd and politicos thanks to its next door neighbors (the Italian Senate and Parliament). Tucked away behind the Pantheon, K-Club's arrival on the nightlife scene is like a breath of fresh air when Rome's Centro Storico needs some dusting off.
