The culinary complex opened in the former Ostiense air terminal right along side where Italy's first private and fastest train line, Italo is running. The new store opening is the biggest thus far and promises to be a food lover's paradise.
The Rome location, which is in the Ostiense neighborhood, is the newest to the Eataly family. It currently has stores in Bologna, Torino, Genova, Milano, Monticello, Pinerolo, Tokyo and even New York. The romana mega culinary complex contains more than 23 restaurants and snack bars including one that specializes in fried Roman delicacies. Yum! Eataly Roma occupies over 17,000 meters of space spread out over four floors. Once can also shop for and indulge in any number of the 14,000 'Made in Italy' food products it sells.

There's also a gigantic space earmarked for conferences and other events revolved around, what else? Food. Whether you're looking for gourmet slow food picked and pruned by local food artisans or itching to whip up a tasty dish that's oh-so-buono alongside one of Italy's top chefs, Eataly is definitely the place to come!
