Rome's grand Via Vittoria Veneto was made famous all around the world as the setting for Federico Fellini's La Dolce Vita. And while it may no longer be the piece of stylish outdoor cafe life that it was in the 1950s and '60s, the street's still home to the majority of Rome's five-star luxury hotels.
Most of the hotels on Via Veneto are where elegance meets Old World-style, and Regina Hotel Baglioni is no exception. This five-star property recently underwent a complete restoration, and it's come out to play with a little more spunk. And it's also home to Rome's newest day spa.

The Baglioni SPA by Caschera Spa is the brainchild of Paolo Caschera, a spa and hospitality management entrepreneur who has extensive experience in the luxury hotel sector. The state-of-the-art spa and wellness center features a wet zone complete with a hydrotherapy hot tub, Finnish-style sauna, steam room and an emotional shower to revitalize the senses.
Qualified male and female therapists are on hand to meet massage and facial treatment needs of both in-house and external hotel guests, utilizing the Caschera signature line of products that are made with essential oils and natural ingredients.
Guests can choose from a range of body and facial treatments for relaxation, rejuvenation or anti-aging. Massage options include deep-tissue, lymphatic drainage, aromatherapy, hot stone therapy and Ayurveda techniques. Massages are 50 or 80 minutes in duration and range from €110 to €180.
A special four-hands massage with two therapists lasts for approximately 40 minutes and costs €230.
A series of facial treatments are on offer, too, priced at around €110 (for a treatment lasting 50 minutes) and can be customized to focus on any specific needs, from problem skin to anti-aging.
The spa also features a fully equipped beauty center for manicures, pedicures and depilatory services. A variety of very select rituals and couples packages are available, varying in type, price and duration – including for pregnant women, the bride who needs a pamper before the big day and for special event celebrations.
The staff are more than qualified and happy to tailor a package to your needs for any occasion.
The spa is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and supplements can also be paid for private and after-hours reservations.
