Noodle & Pie is a concept restaurant that just opened in the old Reginelli's building on the corner of State and Magazine (Uptown side). The ramen/sweet pie/Asian establishment was formerly a pop-up, operating every now and again out of Coulis.
The chefs over at Dante's Kitchen have always been creative, so it's no surprise that they are the masterminds behind this new venture. Their belief that locally sourced, in-season ingredients are the backbone of their culinary success should be the standard which other local chefs abide by. With the success they've had "popping up", they decided it was in their financial interests to morph Noodle & Pie into a full-time brick and mortar restaurant.
Noodle & Pie will serve about four ramen bowls and four pies initially along with some Asian-based small plates and snacks. Beer and wine will be offered, as well as sake. The plan is to make this place unique, and affordable; a place that both families and nearby college students can enjoy.
The interior of the new place looks nothing like the former Reginelli's. The floor is now an aqua blue, giving the illusion that diners are float-sitting on water. String lighting hangs from the ceiling, and the chosen artwork gives the place a definite Eastern-vibe.
When looking for a new place to check out, try Noodle & Pie. Chances are, you've never had anything like it before.
