MetryChick is an interesting little store. Actually, it is less of a store, and more of a cart in the middle of the Lakeside Shopping Center. The cart features the works of local Metairie craftswoman Celeste Haar. Here, you can find some great jewelry, housewares, clothes and gifts. New Orleans Saints football jersey dresses can be great gifts for the female cheerleaders in the family. Fleur de Lis jewelry and etched glass are big hits, and are good to bring home as holiday gifts. Christmas decorations and Mardi Gras pieces here are top-notch and great for getting your home in the spirit.
