The Pharmacy Museum is located in the two-story 1823 store of the United State's first licensed pharmacist, Louis Joseph Dufilho, Jr. In 1950, the Dufilho family opened the museum to exhibit a number of historical instruments and tools used in the apothecary trade. The last guided tour through the museum starts at 4pm, so if you want complete details on pharmaceutical history – get there promptly. The museum features an 1855 soda fountain as well as a vintage gift shop where guests can purchase souvenirs.
