Fresh Market

The Fresh Market is a 25,000 square foot upscale specialty grocery store located on St. Charles Avenue in New Orleans. The grocer is famous for offering quality local meats, cheeses, coffees and foods that are native to the area of each branch. The location is an old antebellum-style mansion that is right on the St. Charles Streetcar line. They always have great gelato, coffee and lemonade available for sample, which could be just what you need as you make your way from the downtown into the Audubon Park area of Uptown.
