Better Than New Luxury Consignment Boutique, located in the Baltimore community of Towson, opened this past summer, rescuing luxury fashion victims and their wallets.
With fashion changing every few weeks, why pay full retail for items that you switch up on every change in season? Sure, you may save a few bucks waiting for a sale, but you can save even more by purchasing vintage and consignment clothing. This is the premise of the shop.
The consignment boutique sells affordable luxury fashion pieces for women, everything from clothing to accessories. They offer business attire, formal wear, basics, shoes and an array of jeans. Fashionable owners Bella Perekalsky and Laura Agetstien opened the store after spending decades as manicurists.

To stay relevant, Better Than New makes sure their fashion pieces are no older than two to four years and are in top condition. This helps to ensure high turnover of their merchandise and establish a standard that customers can depend on, whether they be buyers or sellers.
Better Than New carries a rotating selection of designers, but will usually have pieces from Chanel, Armani, Burberry, Gucci, Fendi, Prada and the likes.
The boutique is open from Tuesday through Sunday, takes consignments every day and will even make home appointments for consignment pick up.
Not only is Better Than New a frugal way for designer shoppers to save money on their clothing, but also it is a financially savvy way for them to make money on their lightly-worn treasures.
