Always one to enjoy a live game for any of my hometown teams, I always found myself dreading the ugly T-shirts offered in masculine cuts at sports stores. Then, I stumbled upon Lucy's League and found that this chick can actually show some team pride while maintaining her sense of style.
Lucy's League hangs its pink and gray sign in Boston's Faneuil Hall Marketplace and is set amid many themed stores specializing in Boston merchandise. But Lucy's League is different, offering something unique to shoppers: figure-friendly sports attire for females! The vibe is more boutique than sporting goods store, but the merchandise screams "fan."

Shopping here is like shopping in any high-end women's clothing store: the sales staff seeks to be of service and offers advice and opinions without being pushy, and browsing the racks is quite pleasant. The only stressful part is making a selection because everything is just so cute!
Be prepared to pay for their fashions because they don't come cheap. A quick check of the tags and you'll quickly see that $40 is common for a T, and if a cozy sweatshirt is what you're seeking, you'll probably fork over $100. However, a Red Sox shirt I'll actually want to wear (probably for years) is worth the splurge. Red Sox Season — Photo courtesy of Lucy's League
