This swanky lounge has a sleek interior that caters to the upscale crowd that can easily saunter in post-work for a craft cocktail. Julep Bar puts an emphasis on "the art, science and craftsmanship behind impeccable cocktail creation." Julep's attention to detail gives you the chance to sample a simple classic or a surprising new "something special."
Sleek design elements and soothing tones invite guests to linger while they mingle with friends both old and new, or socialize with that all-important client. Living room-style seating gives you the impression that you are home, and the servers graciously work to fulfill your needs.
Food is served, but the menu is not extensive. Expect upscale pub grub that is prepared from scratch. The creative takes on classic American fare are worth a try. Sample the Lobster Dumplings or Buffalo Sausage Pizza, or share a Julep Plate (a meat, cheese and bread sampler with delicious sauces for dipping and spreading).
The real draw here is in the drinks. A decent selection of beers flank the menu and run the gamut from basics like Bud Light to small batch brews like Loose Cannon IPA.
