This floating party guarantees a night of fun; complete with a full buffet dinner, dancing, and creative cocktails. Once you set foot onto this Boston Harbor cruise you will forget you'll be returning a few hours later to Boston's shore because the fun starts before you even set sail. Release your streamers as a farewell to land and a hello to the party that lays ahead.
A clear night and calm waters met my group the evening we embarked on this three hour excursion. A private window side table was our home base, with the dance floor in full view from the balcony. Our attentive waitress quickly took our drink order and gave us the run-down of the evening's plan, leaving us to enjoy ourselves and always showing up to refill our glasses when needed. The Spirit was packed with guests looking to have a good time, and once everyone's belly was filled, and we had set sail, dancing was the name of the game. Large parties danced table side when they were too excited to make the move down the stairs, and the dance floor was crammed with people of all ages looking to cut some rug to the mix of party favorites blaring out by the DJ.
But the main attraction is always the outdoor deck. Comfy couches and cocktail tables are set out so guests can chill and take in the view, including the sun as it sets over the Harbor, as well as some of Boston's favorite sites that are seen with fresh eyes water-side. Our dinner cruise did not include narration, but some cruises do (like the Family Fun Lunch), and history buffs will love the brief lecture of the key sites seen along the way.
