Imagine yourself sitting water-side on a perfectly clear night at Boston's Seaport hot spot Temazcal. The lights are dancing on the water, the moon is beaming in the sky and when you look up you see the sky is alight with the gentle flicker of twinkling stars. You sip a margarita and munch on fresh guacamole as you peruse the menu, complete with photographs that actually resemble the food you receive, on the iPad you've been handed by your server. You think about how lucky you are to have a view of the harbor, either inside or outside, from your seat at this Boston restaurant, because between the Mexican cuisine, drinks and setting you have been transported (for a few hours) to the shores of Mexico for a Mexican inspired meal.

When you order (after being guided by your server) you'll find that you've chosen a meal that perfectly matches your mood. Whether you've ordered appetizers to share like the Queso Fundido (a gooey hot bowl of baked cheese and chorizo accompanied by fresh tortillas for you to fill), an adventurous entree like the the whole roast suckling pig that arrives in full to be carved table-side or a simple solo meal like the Carne Asada Tampiquena – a mouthwatering skirt steak served alongside an enchilada, your food will help you to continue your "trip" to Mexico.
After dinner, stay for drinks and music, because as the night wears on the DJ blasts tunes, and the tequila selection is dessert worthy. Although Temazcal does not take reservations on Saturday nights, the wait passes almost too fast because the bartenders are friendly and able to mix cocktails that make you want more (they even create non-alcoholic versions that are still pretty tasty), and the wait becomes part of the adventure.
