Housed inside a structure built in 1904, and occupying the space that is only steps from the TD Garden, The Boxer's 2013 transformation gives guests a "Garden"-side eclectic boutique experience.
The industrial chic look takes elements from the hotel’s New England roots and incorporates them into the design. From the moment you enter their lobby, you'll be struck not only by the historical touches–like the 1860’s archived map of Boston that spans the ceiling of the hotel's lobby and the decorative key rack hanging behind the desk, filled with brass keys you'd long to hold–but also the laid-back feel you get from the staff.
They are certainly happy to help you get situated and talk to you more like a friend than visitor, making you feel truly at home. High-fives from members of the staff are commonplace while wandering the lobby, as are the unsolicited tips they offer which help you get a true feel for what Boston has to offer.

Keeping the unique architecture of the historic Flatiron building in mind, each guestroom has been designed to bring in elements of the building's rich history. Open your door and you'll enter a cozy space with simple touches that create a stylish, masculine look that feels more like a master bedroom than a hotel room.
You'll find walls painted a deep slate blue and rooms furnished with open-frame metal wardrobes and leather-trimmed trunks that provide you with plenty of space to store your clothes. The fisherman’s knit bed scarves and classic plaid blankets over a tufted bed add to the ambiance of the rooms.
For those who need to work while in their room, you'll find comfort in the ergonomic desk chairs that sit at the glass-topped, simply appointed desks. The petite bathrooms are packed with special touches like the Calcutta marble-topped vanities, marble-lined shower stall, fluffy white towels and high-end bath products in delightful scents.
This pet-friendly hotel boasts many amenities including: iHomes with iPhone docking stations; 32” flat screen TVs; and Keurig coffeemakers. Also offering guests complimentary Wi-Fi and newspapers, an efficient 24-hour fitness center, computer kiosk in the lobby and valet service, you'll have everything you need to make your stay in Boston memorable.
