One & Only Palmilla and Capella Pedregal are two of the top rated resorts in Mexico, and in addition to their spectacular surroundings, five-star service, and luxury amenities, Los Cabos' premier properties have something else in common: Peter Bowling. With over two and a half decades in hospitality management, Bowling is one of the luxury hotel industry's most accomplished leaders, having guided at least two resorts to the top of the world's rankings. After shepherding Capella through its first several years of existence, Bowling has moved from Cabo San Lucas' Pacific Coast to the outskirts of San Jose del Cabo, taking over the reins of One & Only Palmilla in June of 2012.

One & Only Palmilla has been considered Los Cabos' best property for the better part of fifty years, but the appointment of Bowling as General Manager signals a commitment from ownership to maintain the historic property's high-end market supremacy for many years to come. And although Bowling respects the past too much to make any sweeping changes, future guests at the resort can expect to see noticeable upgrades in accommodations, amenities, and events.
In addition to the culinary delights offered year round by world-class chefs Jean-Georges Vongerichten (Market Fine Dining Restaurant) and Larbi Dahrouch (Agua Mexiterranean Restaurant), One &Only Palmilla will host its Second Annual Mexican Culinary Festival from November 7-11, 2012. The festival will feature cooking demonstrations and dinners from an all-star cast of visiting chefs, as well as tastings and seminars focusing on wines from Baja's Valle de Guadalupe. Accommodations packages for the festival are now available.
