Cabo San Lucas has suffered from a deli drought for the last couple of years, but the recent opening of Tio Guido's, a New York-style deli and sub shop located in the Plaza de la Danza, goes a long way towards alleviating the town's corned beef and rye shortages. The owners of Tio Guido's are long-time locals, and they're committed to bringing East Coast authenticity to the Marina area.
Guests can sample deli favorites like pastrami or corned beef with swiss, salami and provolone, cheese steaks, and a wide variety of hot and cold hoagies. The reubens are fantastic, as are the shop's versions of traditional childhood favorites like grilled cheese or peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Hot dog lovers have plenty to choose from - bratwurst, kielbasa, sauerkraut and long hot dogs are all available – and hamburger aficionados will enjoy the blue cheese, mushroom, and bacon cheeseburgers.

Italian-style dinner options include spaghetti and meatballs, fettuccine alfredo, cheese ravioli and baked penne, as well as a full range of soups and salads. Minestrone and clam chowder are available by the cup or bowl, and the house salad is a healthy and colorful mix of lettuce, tomato, black olives, red onions, peppercinis and croutons.
The shop is open all day, every day, with plenty of catering options, including an array of sandwich, veggie, fruit and antipasto platters. Boxed lunches are available for fishing trips, and meats and cheeses can be purchased from the deli case.
