Mama's Royal Cafe

Still widely considered one of the best breakfast spots in Cabo San Lucas - despite a change in ownership a few years ago - Mama's offers shaded patio dining, and a menu headlined by their delicious and justly lauded French toast. Located on Calle Hidalgo, the city's "restaurant row," Mama's is the perfect place to start your day in paradise, with friendly staff, excellent food, and a delightful ambiance that includes a serenading guitarist backed by a chorus of local birds. The menu includes a large selection of American-style omelets and Mexican breakfast standards, but the French toast is the star. It's stuffed with cream cheese, topped with fruit and berries, and flambéed in orange liqueur.
